Israel Health Ministry can’t support ‘brain damage’ claim used to push child vaccines

Israel’s Health Ministry last week could not find data to support statements made by ministry Head of Public Health Services Dr. Sharon Alroy-Preis, who claimed COVID-19 can cause brain damage in children. This claim was used to intensify the vaccination campaign for children.

The admission came in response to a Freedom of Information (FOI) request by Dr. Joseph Zernik, a researcher at the NGO Human Rights Alert. Zernik cited remarks attributed to Alroy-Preis in November 2021 that, “the virus enters the brain and affects it. Loss of taste and smell is an indication of this. Children can also be harmed by brain damage from coronary heart disease.” Alroy-Preis reportedly also expressed this to the Health Ministry’s “Corona Cabinet.”

Alroy-Preis' husband doubled down on his wife’s remarks.

“For all the undecideds, I'm vaccinating my small children! The reason is mainly that this virus penetrates and infects the brain cells. Very few viruses do this, so it is not the flu! All viruses that penetrate the brain tissue can cause significant damage years after infection. There is no shortage of examples of this.”

“Do not listen to charlatans, liars and hypocrites,” he continued. “They treated their children as though they themselves were vaccinated and continued to spread the lies and nonsense. Take care of the children. It’s not worth it to get sick. It is much better to get vaccinated and prevent harm to children. "

In his FOI request letter, Zernick cites two scientific studies contradicting Alroy-Preis' claim.

“The concern is that the two above-mentioned doctors, one of them in her role as head of public health services, were engaged in disseminating dubious medical-scientific information in order to sow panic and fear and thus promote vaccinating children,” wrote Zernik in the letter.

He then requested all medical-scientific information that Alroy-Preis' claim was based on, as well as what procedures are used to verify information before being passed on to the public and media.

But the Ministry of Health responded that it needs more time.

“Further to your inquiry,” replied the Health Ministry, “even though 30 days have passed since your request, it has not been completed.”

“We are working with professional authorities in the [Health Ministry’s] office to complete your request and for this purpose we need another 30 days.”

Dr. Zernick told America's Frontline News that Alroy-Preis' statements were part of the campaign to forcibly vaccinate children.

“The fake statements by top Israeli health officer Sharon Alroy Preiss, regarding brain damage in children, resulting from Covid-19 infection, are perceived as part of the campaign to enforce vaccination of children - fulfilling the State of Israel's role as Pfizer's ‘world lab’," he said.
