Republicans team up with Soros-backed groups to fight Trump’s agenda

A group of Republicans have joined Left-wing activist groups backed by billionaire George Soros to fight President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda.

Rep. Maria Salazar (R-FL) and Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-TX) have introduced the Dignity Act, a bill that would grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens by allowing them to apply for a renewable seven-year visa. The offer would apply to migrants who have no criminal record—other than violating immigration law by entering the country illegally. Aliens who were allowed to remain in the United States under Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program would be eligible to become permanent legal residents.

The bill also would direct funding for immigration enforcement—which was provided by the Big Beautiful Bill last month—and would discourage employers from hiring illegal aliens.

Other Republicans who support the bill are Reps.Mike Lawler (D-NY), David Valadao (R-CA), Dan Newhouse (R-WA), Mike Kelly (R-PA), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Gabe Evans (R-CO), Marlin Stutzman (R-IN), Don Bacon (R-NE), and Young Kim (R-CA).

The Dignity Act undercuts Trump’s strict immigration policies and mass deportation operation, both of which have been violently opposed by the Left. That’s why radical Left-wing groups are now throwing their weight behind the bill.

FWD.us

FWD.us, for example, is a far-Left group that has strongly opposed Trump and his immigration policies. Its partner organization, FWD.us Education, raked in nearly $600,000 from Soros’ Open Society Foundations.

“The bipartisan Dignity Act is a much-needed step forward. We thank Congresswomen Salazar and Escobar, along with the bill’s other co-sponsors, for reintroducing this important bipartisan legislation,” the organization wrote.

“We will continue to fight for a more fair and just immigration system, including a pathway to citizenship for all undocumented immigrants building their lives in the United States. We hope today’s reintroduction will be met by more steps towards commonsense immigration reform,” the group added.

UnidosUS

UnidosUS is another extreme Left organization that has spent years pushing open immigration policies. According to the Daily Wire, the group even received a $22 million grant from the Biden administration to promote the COVID-19 shots, particularly among illegal aliens. Its partner organization, UnidosUS Action, has received roughly $500,000 from the Open Society Foundations.

“The reintroduction of the Dignity Act comes at a critical time. Immigrant families across the country are living with fear and uncertainty amid rising enforcement and threats of mass deportation,” UnidosUS wrote in an X post. “We welcome bipartisan efforts to protect long-residing immigrants who have built their lives here. Any serious solution must offer stability, legal status and a path forward.”

American Immigration Council

The American Immigration Council, which has reportedly received almost $2 million from the Open Society Foundations, is also backing the Dignity Act.

“Members of Congress reintroduced what has sadly become an increasingly rare bit of legislation: an immigration reform bill aimed at addressing large-scale systematic problems with our immigration system,” the group wrote.

Intentional saboteurs?

The Dignity Act, widely seen among conservatives as an attempt to sabotage Trump’s agenda, comes at a time when far-Left intelligence operatives who were dismissed by the Trump administration are trying to convince government employees to commit “acts of rebellion” against the Trump administration.

Notus reported earlier this month that officials who were fired from the now-defunct US Agency for International Development (USAID) are plotting a revolution against the democratically elected US government..

USAID was a deep state agency that served as a tool for the intelligence community to effect regime changes, spread propaganda domestically and abroad, and launch cultural revolutions across the globe. It used its $40 billion budget to aggressively promote Leftist causes, such as gender ideology and feminism, on nearly every continent. The State Department closed the agency on July 1st, giving its remaining officials 15 minutes to gather their personal belongings.

Now those officials, deeply embedded in the intelligence community, are forming a network to plot a color revolution against the Trump administration. They are recruiting government employees who are “willing to engage in even minor acts of rebellion” and “planting the seeds of what they hope could become a nationwide general strike.”

“Take it from those of us who worked in authoritarian countries: We’ve become one,” an active federal official told NOTUS. “They were so quick to disband AID, the group that supposedly instigates color revolutions. But they’ve done a very foolish thing. You just released a bunch of well-trained individuals into your population. If you kept our offices going and had us play solitaire in the office, it might have been safer to keep your regime.”

‘Harass and demoralize enemy administrators and police’

Members of the newly formed informal network are distributing an old CIA pamphlet among allies in the federal government called “Simple Sabotage,” which teaches how to disrupt and ultimately incapacitate the government from within.

“Widespread practice of simple sabotage will harass and demoralize enemy administrators and police,” the pamphlet reads. “The saboteur may have to reverse his thinking … Where he formerly thought of keeping his tools sharp, he should now let them grow dull; surfaces that formerly were lubricated now should be sanded; normally diligent, he should now be lazy and careless; and so on.”

DemocracyAID

Some of the members of this subversive network have launched a subgroup called DemocracyAID, intended to replace USAID. The group was founded by Rosarie “Ro” Tucci, who directed USAID’s Center for Democracy, Human Rights and Governance, and Danielle Reiff, another former USAID official. DemocracyAID, which already boasts 200 volunteers and over 88,000 followers on Instagram, is holding workshops to train government employees on how to resist and sabotage the government. The workshops are by invitation only, and members rely heavily on personal recommendations for entry to the group.

“The whole point of it is to start off slow. People are just taking coffee breaks together. And that’s what we’re encouraging them to do,” Tucci said.

The White House is reportedly aware of the movement. Deputy White House Press Secretary Anna Kelly responded to the news, saying, “It is inherently undemocratic for unelected bureaucrats to undermine the duly elected President of the United States and the agenda he was given a mandate to implement.”
