Wake up from this self-inflicted dystopian nightmare, get back to work and pleasure'

UNSW Economics Professor Gigi Foster says when Australians realize the rest of the world "is laughing at us" they will wake up from this "self-inflicted dystopian nightmare" and want to "get back to their work and pleasure"."The rest of the world is laughing at us," Professor Foster told Sky News host Alan Jones. "They're looking at us and labelling us 'fortress Australia'."And that is the pressure I think will actually kick us out of this horrible self-inflicted dystopian nightmare."That Australians will look overseas and realize that everybody else is getting back to work and pleasure – and want that for themselves."So that will put the pressure on the politicians."
