Trudeau regime: If you’re pro-Trump, you should be ‘worried’ about your bank account

Canadian Justice Minister David Lametti made shocking remarks yesterday when he said that the Trudeau regime may seize the bank accounts of people who hold the wrong political views. The wrong political views, according to Lametti, means being pro-Trump.

In an interview with Evan Solomon of CTV’s Power Play, Solomon asked the justice minister about the Emergencies Act and if the government was really intending to seize the bank accounts of people who protest the COVID-19 mandates.

“A lot of folks said, ‘I just don’t like your vaccine mandates and I donated to this, now it’s illegal, should I be worried that the bank can freeze my account?’” asked Solomon.

“If you are a member of a pro-Trump movement who is donating hundreds of thousands of dollars, and millions of dollars to this kind of thing, then you ought to be worried,” answered Lametti.

The statement confirms the Canadian government’s recent transformation to totalitarianism under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

This week, Trudeau announced that he is invoking the Emergencies Act in response to the freedom protests against his COVID mandates. One of the powers Trudeau has under the Act is the power to seize bank accounts or requisition private property for the government’s use, as well as to ban gatherings.

Canadian Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland announced that the government will be seizing bank accounts and any funds deemed unacceptable by the government, including cryptocurrencies.

Justice Minister Lametti confirmed that what is unacceptable to the government is dissenting political views.

This seems to be in keeping with Trudeau’s general political outlook.

As reported by AFLDS Frontline News, Trudeau tried to use the Emergencies Act before, when the pandemic hit.

Just this week, a video resurfaced of Trudeau at a town hall meeting in 2013 praising China’s dictatorship.

“Which nation, besides Canada, which nation’s administration do you most admire and why?” Trudeau was asked by a woman at the town hall.

“There’s a level of admiration I actually have for China,” Trudeau responded. “Because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime and saying ‘We need to go greenest fastest, we need to start, you know, investing in solar.'”

“There is a flexibility that I know [former Conservative Prime Minister] Stephen Harper must dream about of having a dictatorship that he can do everything he wanted, that I find quite interesting,” the prime minister continued.

Yesterday, Conservative MP Candice Bergen blasted Trudeau about the video in Parliament.

"I understand the prime minister admires basic dictatorships, but let's remind the prime minister that this is Canada, this is not a dictatorship," slammed Bergen.
