Twitter censors FL surgeon general after guidance against COVID injection for young men
Twitter Sunday removed a post by Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, MD, PhD which recommended against the COVID-19 injections for men ages 18-39.
In a statement released Friday and attached to the tweet, the surgeon general shared the results of a recent series of self-controlled studies, a type of epidemiological study design and “a technique originally developed to evaluate vaccine safety.”
“This analysis found that there is an 84% increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related death among males 18-39 years old within 28 days following mRNA vaccination,” the statement read. “With a high level of global immunity to COVID-19, the benefit of vaccination is likely outweighed by this abnormally high risk of cardiac-related death among men in this age group. Non-mRNA vaccines were not found to have these increased risks.
“As such, the State Surgeon General recommends against males aged 18 to 39 from receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. Those with preexisting cardiac conditions, such as myocarditis and pericarditis, should take particular caution when making this decision.”
Following the analysis, the Florida Health Department published new guidance:
“Based on currently available data, patients should be informed of the possible cardiac complications that can arise after receiving a mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. With a high level of global immunity to COVID-19, the benefit of vaccination is likely outweighed by this abnormally high risk of cardiacrelated death among men in this age group.
The State Surgeon General now recommends against the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines for males ages 18-39 years old.
Individuals and health care providers should also be aware that this analysis found:
- Males over the age of 60 had a 10% increased risk of cardiac-related death within 28 days of mRNA vaccination.
- Non-mRNA vaccines were not found to have these increased risks among any population.
The guidance also reaffirmed its guidance from March recommending against administering the COVID-19 injections to children, which sparked fierce backlash from the COVID cabal.
“The Department continues to stand by its Guidance for Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccines issued March 2022, which recommends against use in healthy children and adolescents 5 years old to 17 years old.
“This now includes recommendations against COVID-19 vaccination among infants and children under 5 years old, which has since been issued under Emergency Use Authorization."
Twitter censored the surgeon general’s guidance shortly thereafter for challenging “medical experts” and “public health authorities” despite Ladapo being both. The social media platform has since reinstated Ladapo’s post.
“Studying the safety and efficacy of any medications, including vaccines, is an important component of public health,” said Ladapo in the statement. “Far less attention has been paid to safety and the concerns of many individuals have been dismissed – these are important findings that should be communicated to Floridians.”
According to mRNA architect Dr. Robert Malone, Ladapo’s finding of an 84% increase in cardiac-related deaths is underestimating the true numbers.
"I believe that there's a reasonable chance that [84% increased risk of cardiac-related death] is actually an underestimate of the risk,” said Malone.
