‘The Lookout’ will help parents boycott woke companies on Black Friday

Parents shopping this Black Friday can use “The Lookout” to avoid buying products from woke companies.

The Lookout is a parental notification system developed by the American Parents Coalition to inform parents about retailers that work with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). The HRC is a corporate watchdog for the LGBTQ agenda and drives companies to push transgenderism on their customers, including children. These retailers include Target, Disney, Amazon, Macy’s, CVS, Pfizer, Nordstrom, Starbucks, Ross, Hershey, and Google. Until this week, it also included Walmart, though the retail giant dropped its DEI campaign in response to a campaign by activist Robby Starbuck.

“By spending money at these corporations that partner with Human Rights Campaign, parents and children may be unwittingly funding Human Rights Campaign’s mission to normalize transgender ideology for kids,” said the American Parents Coalition.

Parents who sign up for The Lookout will receive text message notifications about which companies to avoid, according to the Daily Wire.

What is the HRC?

The HRC publishes rankings of corporations, hospitals, and organizations that rate how “inclusive” they are. The HRC Corporate Equality Index, for example, considers factors such as whether a company has inclusive policies or allows biological men to use women’s bathrooms. The HRC Healthcare Equality Index looks at factors like whether hospitals offer medical mutilation procedures, referred to by gender activists as “gender-affirming care.”

According to the American Parents Coalition, the HRC’s Welcoming Schools Progam also supplies schools with LGBTQ propaganda for children. It provides educators with trainings, materials, and lesson plans “to create classrooms and schools that are free of gender stereotypes and gender norms that limit all children.”

“A key focus of our program is to provide comprehensive resources for educators to teach about transgender and non-binary people and to affirm all students’ identities across the gender spectrum,” the program says.

Target, one of HRC’s “Gold Partners,” last year came under fire for marketing transgender merchandise for children. The collection included Pride onesies for infants, clothing with transgender slogans, female swimwear for males to help them “tuck” their genitalia, chest binders for girls, items promoting Satan, and children’s books such as “Bye Bye Binary” and “What Are Your Words?,” a book about gender pronouns.
