Pro-Palestine trans activist arrested for murder

A pro-Palestine gender activist has been arrested for the murder of a Massachusetts father.
Snehal Ansh Srivastava, a 26-year-old man who goes by “Sasha Shakur” on social media and answers to “she/her” pronouns, was arrested on August 28th for allegedly killing Kevin Doherty in Shrewsbury. Doherty, 56, had just dropped his six-year-old son off at school when he saw Srivastava spray painting graffiti. When the father confronted Srivastava over the vandalism of public property, Srivastava shot him with multiple rounds. Doherty was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, where he died of his injuries.
Police arrested Srivastava near his home and charged him with assault to murder and possession of a firearm without a license.
Srivastava is an Indian national and describes himself on social media as a “Black Indian Two-Spirit Trans Being.” Photos published by reporter Andy Ngo show Srivastava’s house graffitied with the words “Free Palestine,” “BLM,” “Defund the Police,” and “Stop Cop City.”
Pro-trans and pro-Palestine
The alleged killer has complained on social media that he feels harassed as a “2 spirit trans woman” when using women’s restrooms. He has also claimed to be a victim of “gendered racial harassment” and “policing” because he is “a black woman percieved [sic] as a black man.”
On one of his websites, Srivastava openly states that his sympathy for Palestine is part of a broader hatred for White people, Jews, and the West.
“The people of Palestine do not deserve to be terrorized off the face of the planet because some f**khead crackers think it's their divine right to rape & kill,” he wrote. “‘The state of israel’ is a fraudulent Israel and can go right to hell. We should kill them all, save Palestine and be just be done with it.”
He continued: “The protection of Palestine requires the eradication of western based genocidal white supremacy. This will require parallel actions of American warfare to eradicate the enemy at the source of their creation. We must stop all Cop Cities & reclaim them as training grounds for our own warriors.”
The alleged murder comes just weeks after an assault case against Srivastava was dismissed. The assault charge was based on an incident in 2022, when Srivastava attempted to run a person over, then exited the car and attacked the victim with a machete.
The shooting also took place the day after another transgender-identifying man, Robert “Robin” Westman, opened fire at a church in Massachusetts, killing two children and wounding 18 others. Westman also expressed support for Palestine and gender ideology.
Mainstream media have not reported the Srivastava murder.
