Pediatric clinic creates new policy for vaccinated athletes

In a social media post that has now gone viral, a notice displayed in a Virginia pediatric clinic warns that COVID-vaccinated athletes will need to undergo additional tests before being cleared for sports.

The original poster, Mariah Livesay Bennett, confirmed to PJ Media that she took a photo of the notice at Jackson River Pediatrics in Covington last week.

The notice reads:

“Sports physicals are done primarily to make sure you are not at high risk for sudden cardiac death on the playing field. COVID vaccination affects your risk. In response to worldwide experience and vaccine adverse-event monitoring we are adopting a more precautionary sports physical sign-off policy: If you have received doses of any COVID shot, we will not be able to clear you to compete in sports without completing lab work and possibly an echocardiogram to rule out potential heart damage.”

Myocarditis is a heart condition which is a serious adverse side effect of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines. While it tries to downplay it, the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) acknowledges that it occurs primarily in healthy young males.

Bennett explained to PJ Media why she posted the photo.

“Part of my intentions of sharing the picture that I took Monday at our pediatrician’s office was to let parents who had their children vaccinated for COVID know that they cannot wait until the last minute for sports physicals,” she said.

“I have received backlash from friends and family for not having my children vaccinated for COVID,” she continued. “I believe that my husband and I made the right choice but now I have proof that someone educated far greater than I has evidence that the COVID vaccine can do damage to children’s health.”

Jackson River Pediatrics’ Facebook page appears to have been taken down, which may be due to backlash for doubting the effectiveness of the vaccine.

The serious effects of the vaccine – particularly for athletes – are becoming harder to ignore.

Last month, Frontline News reported that a famous Romanian football team has banned vaccinated athletes.

Gigi Becali, who owns the European Cup-winning football club Steaua Bucharest, has said that the club will no longer be allowing vaccinated players to play. The reason they are no longer welcome to play on the team, according to Becali, is simply because they can’t.

In an interview, Becali said vaccinated players are “powerless”.

“You're going to laugh, but I might be right. Those vaccinated lose their strength. That's something scientific,” Becali said.

Since the COVID vaccine was introduced, athletes have been collapsing from heart conditions at an alarming rate, as reported by Frontline News.

The Israeli Real-Time News reported a 5-fold increase in sudden cardiac and unexplained deaths among FIFA players in 2021. Between December 2020, and the end of last year, 183 professional athletes and coaches have suddenly collapsed, with 108 dead.

In most cases, the cause of the collapse was heart-related, including myocarditis, pericarditis, heart attacks, or cardiac arrest, with the second most prevalent cause being clotting events.
