English 909 Freedom Radio: Fighting Tyranny with Tunes

When the voices of tyranny get too loud, sometimes the best response is to put on some tunes you love, crank up the volume and drown them out.

That’s exactly what the UK-based founders of the English 909 Freedom Radio station did. When the “COVID Hoax”, as they refer to it, entered the scene in 2020, it didn’t take them long to identify the lies and get into action.

The group began to produce a short daily radio show on the Freedom Fighters Telegram channel, which included carefully selected songs to help uplift and de-stress listeners during the intense early stages of the COVID experience. The show quickly grew in popularity, leading to the creation of The English 909 radio station – “the only truly independent music based non-regulated station world-wide, that is targeted towards a growing movement and community”, as their website states. They currently reach 22,000 – 25,000 listeners a week. 

Their mission? To put out a 24/7 stream of positive music for listeners who would rather feel good and enjoy life than be victims of fear and intimidation. Going against the norms of other radio stations which tend to play a relatively limited variety of genres, The English 909 offers a generously wide range of “feel good music” – “boy-bands, girl-bands, one-hit wonders, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, trance, house, old skool, rave and so much more”…because “Freedom Fighters come in all ages and backgrounds.” Featuring upbeat playlists during the daytime, and relaxing, meditative tunes at night, The English 909 pledges “to either uplift you or chill you out” with music carefully selected for its positive vibes and meaningful messages.

"The people behind this radio station are everyday people. Unlike those operating in the dark shadows, we have no political/religious affiliation, do not promote elections/gov petitions, do not claim that the ‘pandemic’ is real, and do not endorse any of the ‘restrictions’/'health measures' (indoctrination tactics) or any injection ('vaccine')…

Our aim is to take listeners from ANY government regulated radio station large or small, especially stations who promote fear, lies, propaganda and receive cash to play commercials promoting experimental jabs, masks, social distancing, lockdowns and general discrimination.” 

Along with its continuous stream of positive music, The English 909 presents the daily weather report (free of any climate change fear-mongering), announces community events that bring people together for quality human connection (such as A Stand in the Park), and messages submitted by listeners. 

What will you never hear on The English 909? National Health Service or government commercials. They also pledge never to “work with any companies that promote experimental jabs, masks or discriminate against staff, contractors, clients or customers.” 

The radio station’s website includes a “Mask free 24-hour shop” where supporters can purchase products to help spread truth and awareness – health-related stickers, English 909 mugs and shirts, even copper cups for healthier drinking!
