British political operatives plot with Democrats to ‘kill Musk’s Twitter’

Senior political operatives in Britain’s ruling Labour Party who are helping the Kamala Harris campaign have been plotting to “kill” X, leaked documents show.

The ‘free speech platform’

Musk’s acquisition of Twitter in 2022 was a major blow to globalist elites, who had relied heavily on the company’s censorship of disfavored opinions. Twitter’s suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020, for example, was credited with helping Joe Biden win the presidential election. Similarly, the platform’s censorship of any scientific data that challenged government COVID-19 narratives helped form the pandemic mandates.

Under Musk’s ownership, Twitter — rebranded as “X” — became known as the “free speech platform.” It remains the only major social media platform to allow content that counters government messaging on key issues.

It is no surprise, therefore, that globalist elites have been hoping to destroy the site. Leaked internal documents from the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) reveal that taking down X is literally at the top of their list.

What is the CCDH?

CCDH is a nonprofit organization that operates both in the US and UK. It was founded by Morgan McSweeney, who currently serves as British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s chief of staff and is credited with helping Starmer rise to 10 Downing Street this year. As its name suggests, CCDH claims to be dedicated to censoring “disinformation” and “online hate.” It takes credit for the Online Safety Act, a law passed by British Parliament last year that allows government authorities to censor what it determines to be “harmful communications” on social media.

The organization also reportedly serves as the mouthpiece for McSweeney’s political think tank Labour Together, whose operatives have been advising the Harris campaign.

‘Kill Musk’s Twitter’

On Tuesday, journalists Paul Thacker and Matt Taibbi published a report containing the CCDH’s internal agenda notes from earlier this year. The first item on the agenda reads “Kill Musk’s Twitter,” followed by “Advertising focus,” “Trigger EU & UK regulatory action,” and “Progress towards change in USA and support for STAR.”

The items appear to have been an outline for a campaign to drive an advertising boycott against X while also using accusations of “online hate” to trigger regulatory actions against the platform by the EU and UK governments.

The organization had tried implementing a similar plan last year when it published a report called “Toxic Twitter.” The report accused X of spreading “dangerous conspiracy theories” and reinstating the accounts of “neo-Nazis.” X sued CCDH over the report, alleging it cost the company tens of millions of dollars in damages from advertising boycotts. The lawsuit was dismissed in March.

Even now, seven out of CCDH’s 12 most recent reports focus on attacking X, holding the platform responsible for riots, election fraud, hate, and disinformation.

Other internal documents published by Thacker and Taibbi show that CCDH activists met with top US government officials about Musk. These included White House employees and congressmen such as Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA). One document showed that CCDH operatives were scheduled to meet with 16 congressional offices over two weeks to give them updates on Musk’s lawsuit.

"England, not Russia, is the culprit in a real foreign election interference story, as the leaked Stateside plans of an advisory group with close ties to Prime Minister Keir Starmer show," the journalists wrote.
